Attend the 4th Meeting of the International Phytoplasmologist Working Group (IPWG)!

The fourth IPWG meeting will take place from 8^th to 12^th of September 2019, in Valencia (Spain).

With the aim of increasing knowledge and awareness about phytoplasma-related diseases, the International Phytoplasmologist Working Group will meet in 2019. Researchers with interests in entomology, molecular biology, microbiology and plant pathology will discuss the following topics:

• Phytoplasma diseases of quarantine relevance
• Epidemiology and control of phytoplasma-associated diseases
• Insect vectors of phytoplasmas
• Mixed infection of phytoplasmas and other pathogens
• Phytoplasma diseases worldwide
• Phytoplasma-host interaction
• Phytoplasma omics
• Reliable and fast phytoplasma detection methods

TROPICSAFE will attend the congress to present the project progress related to the phytoplasma-associated diseases studied in the frame of this 4-years project; the focus will be on the lethal yellowing of palms and grapevine yellows.
