Description:Stellenbosch University is a tertiary education institution comprising of 10 faculties, including the Faculty of AgriSciences. Besides undergraduate teaching, several agricultural research disciplines are supported through postgraduate training. These include programmes on fungal, bacterial, phytoplasma and virus diseases of grapevine and deciduous fruit crops, which form the axis of the economy of the Western Cape province of South Africa.
