Main role: Develop new reagents to be used into cost-effective diagnostic tools for LY and GY pathogens. Agritest will study the feasibility of two immunoenzimatic methods per target, the ELISA and the Lateral flow.
Description: Since 1993 Agritest srl has developed, produced and commercialized diagnostic kits for plant pathogens. The diagnostics are intended for assisting the nursery industry and growers in pathogen-free certification programs and early quarantine inspections.
ELISA and DNA hybridization kit are manufactured by exploiting resources, in-licensing and in-house patents, shared with research partners. The targeted served market is structured 50% national, 25% EU and 25% Extra EU.
